I have a very high flow tank and im currently running bare bottom and want to add about an inch to 1.5 inches of sand. What size or brand is large enough to not get blown around, yet not gravel that i can still have some sand sifting gobies?

Thanks!

Caribsea Reef Grade is a pretty common one people use who have higher flow. It still looks close to sand but is big enough not to get blown around too much.

I have the CaribSea Seaflor Special Grade sand that is recommended for high flow. My diamond goby seems to love sifting it.

agreed. caribsea special grade. I have 2 other types of sand in my tank now and they get blown around (one much worse than the other)simply from the return pump :/

+1 on Caribsea Seaflor Special Grade. The grain size is about 1-2mm. Might be a little too large for most gobies, but I've never had gobies so JMHO.

It is possible that it will be too big for smaller gobies. My goby is pretty large.
