I want to plumb two NextReef Reactors under my stand not in the sump but am having problems trying to figure out the best way to drop the level in the reactor to avoid spilling when replacing media.
The flow for the reactors will be coming from a single half inch pvc that tees off to feed the reactors in parallel. There will be a valve to each reactor. The problem I am having is that once the valve is closed the reactor and the hose will remain full causeing water to spill when the hoses are removed or the top is taken off. Is there anyway around this? I could put a bleed in the line but with no pressure it will not do any good. This tank must be dry, I do not want another butt chewing for a messed up wood floor.
