im new to this hobby yet im getting ready for deployment. to fill my bordem times what would b a ood book for reef keeping and a comunity tank knowledge book. feel free to email jmal_always@yahoo.com

Well there are many good books around. But it takes more than just one or two books. It takes many many hours of research, oh and dont forget to add patience, lots of it!

Do you have a specific type of tank you are interested in setting up? i.e. fish only, fish only with live rock, softie reef, lps reef, sps reef etc.

However if you are new to the hobby, I would move on over to the reef chemistry forum and find the reef chem articles. I have to credit alot of my understanding in this hobby to Randy's articles, they are VERY informative!
