I have a 110 on my 1st floor that has been running since 04. I recently setup a 180 in my basement. I want to move a Tomato Clown from the 110 to the new 180. He is about 3 yrs in my tank with no issues. Everything has been in there several years with no issues. Should I still QT him before adding to the 180?

Moving from your own tank to your own tank I would not see a problem just moving him. It is not like you are getting something from God knows where you do not know the conditions it was kept in. I say move it.

That was my orig plan. I just wanted to see if anyone saw a problem with doing it. I had one bout of maring ich about 5 years ago and never saw a sign of it again after that. I have no new fish additions in a few years. I think the Tomato was the last fish I put in.

I agree, shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure temp and salinity are the same.
