Has anyone had a braceless tank explode?

Alot of reefers are going braceless now. I'm actually thinking about doing the same myself. Does anyone have any horror stories to share? :worried:

I'm sure it's happened, but tanks with braces have also exploded. Just one of those things that could happen with any tank, but is pretty unlikely on a well built one that is leveled and not stressed.

my 180g is eurobraced, and it has not exploded yet, and it is nice to have the whole top open
