I just noticed my 44 gal Tupperware Brute container I use to store my R/O top off water is smelling a little musty.
What would be a good cleaning solution to use.
Someone once told me a solution of Hydrogen Peroxide and water but didn't say what ratio. Chlorine bleach is a definite NO!
Any suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks,

What ratio water to vinegar would you suggest?
Thanks

I usually use 1 part vinegar to 1 part water. I'll dump about a half gallon of tap water and half a gallon of white vinegar into the bottom of the container. I take a clean washcloth and scrub the entire inside of the container. It works well.

+1 Vinegar and water will clean it right up.

Works great. I have someone get inside (my 250 gallon reservoir) and clean from the inside.

I don't worry so much on ratio I just dump a bunch in and add water. U can use bleach u just have to make sure it dries completely and rinse with water after to get residue off.

Thanks all,
Really appreciate the tips.
Think I'll use clean sponge or rag, soaked in vinegar. Wash down the inside then rinse well.
Works for me.
Thanks Again.
