microbubbles in tank

Everyday when my halide turns on, it seems that my tank fills with microbubbles. I think it's algae photosynthesizing, but I just want to know how to stop it! Anyone have any ideas?

I had a lot of dirt/micro bubbles in my tank so I purchased some ceramic rings and placed it in my filter. My water became crystal clear. There were still some bubbles at the top but you have to get really close to see it.
