Hey guys,

I'm going to NERAC (North East Reef Aquarium Conference) at Atlantis Marine World March 19, 2011.

Lots of vendors are going to be there selling Corals, Fish, and merchandise. There will also be a raffle of some nice things.

A great line up of speakers including Paul Whitby, Simon Garratt, Richard Ross and Ken Nedimyer. Their topic and quick bios are on the site.

At an additional cost dinner by the reef. Sounds cool!

Jarret's correct, NERAC is open to all.

A great day full off reefing activities, vendors and the rare chance to snorkel the reef tank at Atlantis if you win the raffle!

Is the actually aquaruim open to walk around and veiw the tanks also or its just a section for nerac

The whole place. I am very excited to hear the talks, and esp the coral. Since I am up grading soon I am going nuts and buying sps and clams. Then when I up grade I will have a full tank.

Atlantis is fully open to all, only NERAC attendees will have access to the speaker and lunch tents; if you'd like to see the sea lion show vs a speaker you're more than welcome to.

Hi Guys, I need some simple info on this event.
I want to go, but I'm bringing the wife & kids to also walk around the aquarium. They are not gonna want to sit & listen to speakers... So, do I just have to pay to visit the vendors? If so, how much $??

The vendors will all be in a general area open to the public, so if you only wish to see the vendors admission to the aquarium is all you need. Admission to Atlantis is currently $21.50 for adults and $18.50 for kids 3 to 17, https://secure.atlantismarineworld.com/products.aspx?catid=2

I got 6 austrian sps from dr mac, 3 clams, 1 huge aneomone for free
