About a year ago I contacted the representative for this product. Claus I think was his name and he frequents Reef Central to talk about the product. After talking to him and him stressing that this product "should be the last bullet" his words not mine, it scared me off. Seemed to infer that it can do more harm than good in many cases. I went the Tech M route and saw the bleaching that you have but in time all of my corals came back just fine and the bryopsis was gone.

I've used ultra algae-x with no ill effects. Just ordered some from Todd at cherrycorals. Ihe said he had a large bottle available. You have to be careful dosing. I read they had changed the concentration due to problems. I used the original formular with no difficulties.

I was able to control a strain of bryopsis using Algaefix Marine, but I experimented and used the recommended dosing amount, but every other day instead of every 3 days. My situation was unique in that I only had some euphyllia frags and some small open brains, but they all did fine. It took about 2 weeks or so for it to die out, but it did.
I don't really recommend this really but figured I'd throw it out there since it worked for me.
