broken skimmer body please help

i recieved a used skimmer from a fellow reefer and it came shipped with a broken in half body can i use weld on to put it back together its a clean break and ill be useing in sump

I have a deltec with about a 26" body that was broke around the inlet. My friend who traded it to me epoxyed it and has been working great for 6+ years out of sump.
