hi, sorry to annoy with another id thread but i am having trouble settling on bryopsis as being the proper id for this algae. everything i read about bryopsis talks about a feathered plume? this stuff is very coarse with no such feathered tips. grows on the rockwork only and is very difficult to pull off. any thoughts would be appreciated.

in the photo below it is the large patch of darker green im wondering about. there is a small bit of hair algae growing on the unknown algae along left side so do not let that be confusing.

Cladophora:fine tough filaments, often forming turfs or cushion-like growths, often dark green like yours but can be lighter colored. Can bloom extensively, expecially in older reefs. Sprung recommends keeping alkalinity above 9 dKh to retard it. Not very palatable to fishes.
