My tank is 34g tank that has been set up for about 4 months now.
Parameters are:
Salinity 1.025
Ph 8.1
Nitrate 0
Ammonia 0
Phosphate 0

Right now my tank only has a good bit of coral frags, 2 peppermint shrimp, 3-4 nassarius snails, 3-4 cerith snails, 2 turbo snails and a emerald crab.

I am about to buy some more clean up crew and I was thinking of buying he 34g quick pack from reefcleaners.org.

It contains 47 dwarf cerith, 12 nassarius, 15 florida ceriths and 8 nerites.

Is this a good buy for me? Should I get something different?

DO ITTTT, I bought the quick pack for a 40 and my sand is sparkling white and my glass stays clear, I havent had to use the magnetic brush for quite sometime now. You wont be disappointed. I may even recommend getting the next size smaller quick pack as instead of detritus on my sand now I see tons of snails. Other than that I am 100% satisfied. You can email reefcleaners and he will custom build you a pack also.

I think I will definitely get a pack from him them. Will snails suffice everything or should I have a few hermits?

it all depends what is going on in your tank, I already had hermits so I did not get any from him just snail pack.

Can you elaborate a little, what do you mean by "what is going on in your tank"?

Kind of an off topic question here but I will probably need to get a CUC in a few week. Do you have to QT them like you would fish? Or what is the procedure for the CUC?

no QT necessary from my understanding atleast I never have..

as for acclimating just float them in their bag for 15min and then remove them and put them straight into your tank. That is per the direction of reefcleaners...

No, you don't want to QT snails & hermits. You want to float the bag in the DT for 10 or 15 min to match temp. Then add them directly to the DT. Reason being is during shipping, Ammonia builds up while PH drops. adding DT water raises the PH with makes the ammonia much more toxic.

I realize the question was specifically about QT but I figured I would throw it in there in case the question came about.

I think I may just do a snail package.

Good decision :) Hermits are the salt water equivalent of the Anti christ :furious:
