Deltec Nitrate Filter

I am planning to purchase the Deltec NFP509 Nitrate Filter. According to the website, one can run the filter manually, semi-auto, and fully auto. I am weighing the pros and cons of each system.

If others are running the filter in any of these modes, what are your experiences?

Also, does anyone know if there are visual diagrams showing how each of these systems are set up? I seem to understand systems better when I see them as diagrams.
