I bought the pegleg skimmer about a week ago. I recieved the skimmer very quickly. I even got an email stating it was shipped and a tracking number. The skimmer was easy to put together but the glue was a bit difficult if you want a perfect look. not too bad if you have patience. I ran it in a 50/50 vinegar/water bath for a day or so. Just got it in my sump and this thing is awsome. Pump is quiet and starts every tme. The bubbles this thing makes are TINY. Also on a company note Justin was awsome to work with. I love when a company actually appreciates your business. I got a hand written note in the box addressed to ME by name thanking me for my business. You dont see that often. Justin answered any questions I had and did everything he could to ensure I was satisfied. I will definately be purchasing more from avast in the future. I will be getting the swabbie and I think I may need a media reactor. Two thumbs up Avast.

Thanks
John

I completely agree as I had the exact same experience. I wouldn't hesitate to order from Avast again in the future.

Very nice cec09. Are the pump and outlet drain connected to the body with uniseals? If so, how do you like those?

Just the pump. The outlet is glued. No prob with the unseals.

Agreed, the pump fits quite snug in the uniseal and does not budge.
