This is my first LTA. It is going into a 58 gallon that has been set up for 1.5 years.

What is the best way to introduce the nem to the tank? Drip acclimate for about an hour, turn down power head to about 10%, put the base of the nem in a small hole in the sand and burry around the nem? Lights off, on, photoperiod? When should I try to feed it?

thanks for the help.

I have always had good luck burying in sand between a couple rocks where flow will gently move tentacles.
I also like it to be near a ledge, or semi ledge area so it can pull in or out of light as it needs/likes, this has pretty much always resulted in staying, not wandering.
I only turn flow down until it looks like it has buried foot enough to hold, a healthy nem shouldn't take that long.
I leave light cycle normal, drip acclimate for 45-hour.
Don't even worry about spot feeding for a week or so, maybe just some mysis at first, let it really settle.

Wow, can't believe how sticky this nem is. I was a little scared trying to pull my fingers away from the tentacles (thought I would rip them)
