View Full Version : Blue around edges, suggestions?

D3000, shot in RAW, DIY LED Lighting, this is without any PP. The colors are reasonable, the Green is MUCH brighter in person. I don't know how to get rid of the blue areas that show up in areas that are out of focus. Any suggestions?

You shot in RAW but didn't do any post processing? That could well explain your color issue. I set the color temperature during post to get accurate colors.

I don't have any "real" photo processing software at this point, but any changes to the color that made it look more realistic just exaggerated the blue problem:

The blue fringing you're seeing is called chromatic aberration. It basically comes down to "cheap lens". You can mitigate damage somewhat with controls in Lightroom.
