are there any lower price skimmers that do a good job? also how much larger should the skimmer rate be compared to eater volume.

i have a 75 gal with a 40 gal sump. i have looked online at skimmers and im not sure what is best for the money or the size i need.

I would say with that, go with SRO 2000, or the sro xp2000

look at the vertex line of skimmers as well. my friend has an eshops and it skims great.

count 1000 l / h air per 500 liters of water tank

full SPS : air = 2.5xtank capacity

i have the swc 180 cone and i love it i think 160 cone would work good for you
