OK, so I just realized that I will need room to be able to pull the equipment out of my sump when I have the tank on top of the stand and sump... Now I have to build a stand. ARGGGHHHH. Sorry, OK, frustrations all out, I do not know how everyone hooks their sumps up to their tank. Do you guys glue pvc into the bulkhead? What happens if you need to move the tank? There definitely needs to be an easier way to do this. I cannot find info at all online of specifically how and what to get to plumb a sump to an aquarium.

i use unions on either side of the pump and bulkheads so i can take the pump out if need to. you could also use threaded plumbing but i don't because im afraid i won't get the teflon tape on well enough to keep it from leaking. you can also use double unions that have a valve built in the middle of two unions.
