Did I fry my lights?

I was taking my light fixture off to change the cooling fan today & it slipped & the corner of the fixture dipped into the water. The GFI kicked out but now the lights will not turn on(Nova Extreme T5 4 bulb) the fan turns on but when I plug the fixture in it kicks the GFI. Did I fry my fixture? When I took it apart to change the fan it was not really wet inside. I took it apart again to air it in hopes it may help.

let it dry out. Also check the sockets i had problems with my sockets in that same light.
