I purchased my VDM module and was gonna connect my 2 channel cable I purchased separately. I have two dimmable ballast on my diy T5 set-up. Can I connect one channel to both ballast? Or does each ballast need to have it's own channel? I was thinking of soldering wires from the 0-10v on both ballast together then connecting them to one channel on the wiring. This would save the other channel for my diy dimmable moonlights. Let me know if this is possible? Thanks

A VDM has 4 channels so if you did use 1 channel per ballast you would still have 2 remaining for something else.

I (personally) would use 1 channel per ballast just to be sure you don't overload tha VDM channel but it will depend on the current draw on the control connection of the ballast you are using. I have heard some people here connecting 1 to many but you should understand the draw in order to make the determination.

Cool, I run the ballast individually then to avoid any problems. Thanks

As long at the ballast can be controlled by 0-10v I don't see any reason why you couldn't.
