Forgive my inexperience with these things (I am getting back into the hobby after many years), but would the new ability to control LED DIY fixtures to this extent (storms, clouds, lightning) with the LEDControl4 also allow the internal LEDs of a DIY fixture to serve as the moonlight as well? Basically, similar to how the AI can do lunar cycles from the actual Sol unit without additional separate LEDs for a moonlight itself.

I am considering getting the Profilux 3.
Thanks!

Hi

yes you will be able to do everything you ask for. :)

The ProfiLux 3 is the ideal choice as it can control multiple channels at the same time providing the storm effects, cloud cover, moonlight, sunrise sunset etc.

You may also wish to look at bundled packs with the profiLux of the pacific Sun LED fixtures.

Thanks! I will tackle the DIY LED setup for now and add on a Profilux as soon as the module is released.

No it uses L ports, the same that the PII or the light bar uses

Thanks, I realized that after looking at the pdf.

I'm definitely going to have to grab one but I hope some kind soul will walk us through the process of setting it up! :lolspin:

no, but the 48D can be connected directly to the L port and be dimmed (just wont support effects)

I have a ledcontrol4 question

I am going to buy 4 meanwell pwm dimmers. Each dimmer will control 12 LEDs for total of 48 LEDs.

Will I just need one led4 module or four if I want to control each 12 LEDs independent from the others?

Thank you in advance

I have the EXACT same question. Will the LEDCONTROL4 Passive work with 4 meanwell PWM drivers? Will I need anything else? The description on website says it takes standard 0-10v and converts them to PWM signals.

???Where does the 0-10v come from? the the LEDCONTROL4 deliver the 0-10v that gets converted or do I need to provided that somehow?

this was answered on the support forum under LED, there are various posts, if still not sure please post there.

The support forum is an easy data base to find most questions, just have a look.
