If you have an ipad already, I'd wait for the ipad3. If I didn't already have one, I'd get the white one.

I don't play to replace my Gen1 until they come out with the Retina screen that's found on the iPhone4.

There's no info on pricing. Guess I'll just wait until the ipad 5 - heard they are making a reef version with nemo swimming on the side of the screen.

I have alot of downtime at work, and read alot on these forums on my phone. It gives me headaches cuz what I read is to small.

With the iPad everything will be huge + it's 2nd gen + it has cameras + FaceTime, etc...

Yupp i've had my 4g iphone since 2 days before it launched to the public and i've used facetime maybe 2 times.

I like it. I get to see my nephews out of state and talk to them. Might not be for you but I definitely enjoy it.

It really depends on what you use it for. I work in IT so it's useful for me to carry something thats more portable than a netbook but still allows VPN access to work. Not to mention try reading a book on your phone, your eyes will bleed :hmm6:

Reading on the iPad is great. I can't read a book in paper form anymore. I'm in IT as well and use my iPad for work all the time. Overall, if I didn't already own the 1st gen already, I'd be in line on march 11th.
