Hi, does this look like the right amount of flow or is it tumbling to much?

Hey Kendo,
It's hard to see the bottom with the blue tint..but it looks like the bottom is hardly moving in which case a little more flow would suffice.

You haven't mentioned which bio pellets you are using. Some needs more flow then others.

no, u need more, it's moving, not tumbling..either increase the flow or pull about a third of the pellets out and then see..

*According to Jon Warner. As long as you have flow going through the reactor at a 100GPH min. you will be fine.*

Mine runs alot slower then in your vid, but then they have been online since 1/6/2011.
A few of us agree that...In our reactors...Full tumbling is not absolutely needed, half of our does not tumble at one time or another while the other side does. Along with interesting finding that is on the WM EcoBac thread, faster flow-higher readings on NO3 & PO4s then turn the flow down... lower testing results.

I fully agree with Donna.
And it's even better when the bottom part is moving very slow (bacteria will have time to settle and do what they are supposed to do)
Mine pellets, which are up and running from 6/10/2010, are also moving a little slower then yours and they are doing a great job in a 240 gallon.

Thanks for all the help. I'm runnig 750ml of ecobak pellets for about 5 months now on a 120 gallon, all my readings are zero on phos and nitrates, but I have some cyno issues, so I have been dosing microbacter7 for the last 2 weeks and it seems to be working so far.

Flow looks good, a little more wouldn't hurt to get the bottom ones moving. Certainly not too much flow.
