is it normal for the mp 40 dryside to be kind of noisy when at full throttle

also the dry side seems to get pretty hot......i adjusted the wet side so the vibration is minimal

i've heard these can be noisy while not cranked to the max.. Some people have tried to move the dryside around to find the "sweetspot" .

You'll probably notice a humming noise when it's all the way cranked up from the dry side. If everyting is working correctly and the wetside is ligned up correctly everything else should be almost silent.

It does get a bit hot and on pulse mode to make a wave it can get annoying but worth it imo

Don't stick your ears to close to the water

It is the loudest thing on my tank. But worth it!

i had to rma both of my mp10w es due to the bearings being too loud on the dry side.
the replacements were much better. now i barely notice the noise unless i set it on
a wave making pulse setup.

i feel that the quality of these are hit or miss and due to the cost you should work with
ecotech to determine if yours is too loud.

the problem is a lot of people do not know what is acceptable or not until you get a good
one.

Correct - it will remember the time you set until the driver loses power at which point you'll have to reset it.
