I want to share what almost was a bad incident in my seahorse tank. I am maintaining three horses in my little 20 hex, and when I set it up I used an old sea fan skeleton I had from a SW tank a long time ago. Here's a picture that shows it:

The horses love to hang on it, but the gaps in the holes actually have little spiky bits protruding into them. My horses are getting bigger fast and they got just the right size to get trapped! The first time was last week, I grabbed my coral cutters and carefully cut away the fan parts. I thought it was n anomaly, but happened again today. This time after freeing the poor horse I gve the seafan a severe haircut so there are no holes that can trap them.
I will look for a plastic replacement!
