What is a "dancing shrimp?" The only ones I know of are those live shrimp at Thai food places.

Do you mean sexy anemone shrimp or maybe hinge back shrimp?

Sexy shrimp = none. Mine lives in and around my bubble tip clone family. Not interested in coral, sept. walk over neighbour leather occasionally.

If you mean hinge back/camel shrimp, supposedly some coral, like shrooms and softies, but mine never have. If they're well fed why would they?

I had a dancing shrimp/camel shrimp (they are the same thing) that was a model citizen. Just my experience.

It really depends on what you're referring to as "dancing shrimp," as many kinds of shrimp will appear to be dancing, in our aquariums!

IF, you're referring to Sexy Shrimp, Zoanthids!! We read several warnings, about Sexy Shrimp eating Zoanthids, but decided to take our chances anyway, adding a group to our 24 gallon Aquapod, a couple of years ago. Within 6 months, ALL of our Zoanthid colonies were GONE. We witnessed, on several occasions, the Sexy Shrimp munching on Zoanthids. Since removing all of the Sexy Shrimp, and adding more Zoanthids, several months ago, all Zoanthids are thriving.

returnofsid, do you mean hinge back/camel rather than sexy?

Sexy:

Camel:

Both excellent in my tank btw. Sexy never strays a body length from BTA...and camels stick to their zone, mini prob is they'll walk all over any coral in that zone...no biggie. All up 1-2 min per day...make...stronger.
