I want to set up a 40 gallon breeder tank, be able to grow all corals. What kind of lighting should I go with? A diy led? or just a t5 fixture?

I say a sweet T5 fixture... ;) I'm in the same boat (but not for a 40 breeder), and I'm leaning towards LEDs for the eventual cost savings and look... but man are they pricey...

Go with a T5 fixture. Cost you a lot less money and will do great for you.

I have a 2x96w PC over my 40 breeder QT and SPS are growing but I would trade that POS for a T5 any day.
