I think i got dooped

so i bought a male/female pair of blue throats. problem is its been just about 2 weeks and the male keeps hiding he does come out but not far from the cave he claims. here come the very unshy "female" when i purchaced both they were together for 4 months at my LFS. now i tihnk i bought a male male pair. look at these pics im posting... im almost postive its a male. when i bought them he/she had NO COLOR. now he/she has a much brighter jaw and tail. is this showing off for the male or is this about to become a disaster

ps. cant get a pic of the deffinate male but has a ton of yellow and very bright jaw so i know hes a male. this is the questionable one

Yea I'm pretty sure it was weird because they were together for 4 months and he never colored up and his tail looked pinkish guess he wasn't doing too well there and doing better here... He will be gone Thursday... Hopefully we donthave any battles before then
