I have an rodi unit I bought from Spectrapure. They really sold me on having separate Anion/Cation I think because you wouldn't be wasting one or the other in a mixed bed if your use was heavily one way or the other but to tell you the truth I cannot exactly remember.

Now that I have come back to this after being away for a few years I am trying to recall why i did things one way or another.

I noticied you sell both and am interested in your input. I will say I think the best water I ever made was from a mixed bed of MBD-30

If you plan on recharging your own resin, I might suggest separate beds, but for most people, a mixed bed cartridge is a convenient way to get 0 TDS water. And you're right - a mixed bed will give you better results and an equal amount of separate bed resin.
