Ok. I was informed that the flow from my sump to my MT is too high so, I'll take the opportunity to use the extra water for , frag tank, mac algae tank, and a reactor.
I'm wondering what is the best method of branching off the pump ? Currently I have an 1.5 fitting coming out of the bottom of my sump connecting it to the Reflo Barracuda and from there one 1-1/2 line going up to the next floor in my house and under my main tank where there I branch it off to the left and right returns. I have ball valves everywhere so controlling and cutting wil not be an issue
Pictures would be helpful.

put a T with a ballvalve on it in the plumbing on the RETURN side of the pump. place it wherever is easiest to plumb whatever you decide to plumb into the system..
In the pic below the T and ballvalve feed my fuge

I used T fittings with ball valves on both sides of the lines so I can control the flow to both lines. In my case, I have 2 T's of my Reeflo Hammerhead return pump. The main line goes to the tank. One T (with the blue ball valve) goes to my chiller 50' away in the garage and returns to the sump. The other T goes just above the blue ball valve goes to a manifold that feeds my reactors which also return to my sump.
In the picture below, the pump on the right is my return pump. You can see where the additional lines are plumbed in. The pump on the left is my circulation pump.

This picture is before I added a UV to the circulation pump. You can see the plumbing better here. http://i390.photobucket.com/albums/oo347/shleif/Tanks/Sump%20rr/Pumps4.jpg

Video that show my gaggle of plumbing. I used the return pump to feed the DT, frag tank, Skimmer, and reactors.
