So I checked the salinity in our tank, twice; SG: 1.026 PPT: 35. We then checked the salinity in the water we were about to add to our tank; SG: 1.024 PPT: 36?... How is it possible to have a low SG but a high PPT count? We checked the refractometer with calibration fluid, twice; SG: 1.026 PPT: 35. Also, the water had been mixing for over 24 hours now.

Anyone know what is happening here? We have no clue.

I'm not sure why you would be very concerned about the difference but, it could be a number of things. My guess would just be that your Refractor is within it allowable tolerance of + or -:wavehand:
