now i know alot of times people mistake cyano for algae but i am not sure about this stuff i have seen cyano and this stuff doesnt react or grow like what ive seen does anyone know if this is "black beard" algae?

Black beard algae appears to be in fresh water tanks.

This is cyano. I am 98% positive of this. It has the slimy look to it, plus has the oxygen bubbles underneath the mat.

EDIT: It doesn't even look like Black beard algae (see photo):

well i have tried several treatments for cyano including chemiclear and that has worked on other tanks for me but this stuff seems to grow stronger with each of the three treatments of chemiclear i have given in past month ????

a worker at a LFS sugested black beard i never even thought to look in fresh water for it so now i know it isnt that
