Will i still need to dose mg with ARM extra coarse?

Putting together a Ca reactor and was going to use ARM extra coarse and zeomag granulate to help suppliment my mg so i wouldnt have to dose it anymore. But im wondering if this is overkill? will the ARM extra coarse have enough mag that i dont need the zeomg?

Overkill would depend on how much of the zeo stuff you used and how much magnesium is in that material. Many CaCO3 media are somewhat deficient in supplementing magnesium, but it also depends on what salt mix you are using, as that is often the biggest driver of magnesium levels.

I actually mix IO, Oceanic and Reef crystals. Prob have a 25ppm demand for Mg each week

What is your calcium demand? Must be upwards of 250+ ppm each week to match that magnesium demand, or else it is being driven by the water changes.
