well have been sitting on this tank for some months now and its finally up and running.

Maybe a little too much rock?

That and you'll need a powerhead or two in there for additional flow to keep detritus from settling.

Other than that, very nice start!

Looks pretty cool, like the rock work. I agree need some power heads

How many pounds of rocks is that and is it live or dry rocks

yea got another powerhead but its in my 30g right now havnt moved it yet.
have very little rock in my 30g so wanted to go for more this time around.
id say close to 80lbs maybe a bit more.

and its dried rock. going to toss in some small live rock pieces soon.

Looks like a pretty good tank, agree with everyone else that you will need some powerheads for flow. What kind of sand did you go with?

Looks like a good start. I think amount of rock looks good - plenty of places to put coral :)

@aryiman, i used the fiji pink sand from caribsea. and i will have X2 koralia 750 gph running tomorrow.

just installed my ReefKeeper 2 and added in my powerheads. everything works great just need a Ph probe and im all set.

looks awsome man.i have a 55g long im in the process of getting ready. did u build the sum?How much did everything cost total?

i got everything including the reefkeeper 2 and all the rock for $250 :-)
friend of mine was getting rid of it so i jumped on it.
and no i did not build the sump.

just moved all my coral and my six line in from my 30g a few days ago been busy but going to have pictures up tonight when i get home.
