Octopus Extreme 200

What would a minimum tank volume for this skimmer be? Does it have one? I was given one but I've only got a 36 gallon tank with 29 sump. It fit just fine but will it work properly even with the small volume?

I say for sure it will work great, I have the octopus extreme 300, a couple years old... its rated for 300g's, and I don't mind having an oversized skimmer, of say go for it... jus mho
