I have a pair in my 125 but besides my yellow tang these will be the only fish that grow over three inches that I will ever own.

Also keep in mind they are very heavy feeders. I really have to keep my water changes up to keep my nitrates low. A good skimmer is a must.

Yes, a 55 is too small. They actually get quite large, the largest I have seen was at a wholesaler and it was about 9". The only way for you to have one would be to start a small one in the 55 and setup a larger tank in the future (although this is never a wise choice because 9 out of 10 times that larger tank will never happen).

I had a mated pair, in a 200 Deep Dimension. I'd never keep them in any 4' tank, that was less than 3' front to back. IMO, 180 or larger!

At 3" and 4" they're already way too large to put both in a 90.
