I'm in the process of assembling a foam rock display and things seem to be going well. I'm getting close to using resin on the foam and purchased some "finishing resin" from a local hobby store. It seems very thick (like thick honey) compared to what I read in Tiggsy's thread of which he mentioned as the resin being like watered down paint. The resin I have is a 2 part mixture that is difficult to apply with a brush/foam brush and seems to be slow going. Am I using the wrong stuff or is the resin perhaps "expired"?

I used Pond Shield, which was very thick and difficult to brush on. It's thinnable with denatured alcohol; check your brand's paperwork to see what it can be thinned with...
