hellow everybody i have decided to make a foam back drop for one of my 40 gallon tanks after seeing several things about it in this forum and others. i have tons of eggcrate to use and was wondering what type of filler to use. i have some waterproof black door and window sealant but would that be safe? any help would be great

Use pond foam... It's black, inert when dryed, resists UV, and doesn't need to be sealed.

its dap tex plus, i can buy some expanding foam this just would seem handy if this would already work. just had it laying around.

Best to wait at least 24hrs b4 bumping, not everyone is online when you are.
