anybody have pictures of a oak tank and a blue background or no background, done the black thing and want to go blue

i have two big tanks, one blue background and one black. maybe just personal preference but the black gives a nice illusion of depth and hides the algae growth much better than the blue. also, any blue fish dont stand out against the blue bckground. my second choice (after black) would be clear.

curious what others think.

The rim of my tank is black, but my stand is stained English Chestnut, which isn't Oak, however I do have a blue background. Not sure if it will help you but here are a few pictures -- the tank is new.

(( The fish in here were from my other tank, waiting to be sold ))

was that the tape on background or did u paint the back?

Just one of those vinyl backgrounds from an LFS -- reversible to black if I ever wanted.
