Recently, retro fitted 24 led's to my Tek fixture without fans.

Installed on a 33 inch long alumium u channel strip and added 12 led's per strip. Led's are 2.75 inch a part.

I have 2 strips of LED's and I'm afraid it'll get too hot and thinking about adding fan's but, it's a lot of work to do.

So, how hot is too hot?

If you have a temperature gun take a reading of the heatsink, I'd say if it's above 130F you should probably run fans. With LEDs the cooler you can keep the heatsink the better.
