Two part Randy-recipe question

I have a question about Mg part of Randy´s two part recipe.

In reefkeping magazine he said: 3 cups of Epson salt and 5 cups of MgCl2....but...I want to know in grams...

So How many grams are 3 cups of Epson salt and 5 cups of MgCl2????

I don't have the density figures. It's fairly easy to convert to ml, if that'd be more convenient.

Hummm ok Jonathan...

So in this case...another question...

How can I do that???? I know it seems a dumb question...but How can i mesure volume in a solid???? Just put in a beker until reach 237mL mark????
