About a month ago I added a male blue throat triggerfish to my reef. He had been on someone else's tank for 4 years. My lfs got a female in I know she is female she does not have any blue on her jaw or any yellow on the fins. At first he was fine with herstruggled for 45 to get under the rocks to sit with her. The last week he has been making her stay in a corner altthough sometimes he does not even notice her. At feeding time she eats with the rest of my fish and is out swimming most of the time. Then out of the lue he will charge ather and out her in the coner. He has never bitten her. He is about twice her size is this normal behavior?

I'm guessing here, but I'd be willing to bet that this is your problem, "He is about twice her size..."

I figured a little smaller length wise an 1 1/2 but he is very thick. Would he prefer her if she was bigger. I have never seen a female in a store his size before.
