They will try to host almost anything --- I would buy an Anenome or Frogspawn --- the Clowns' get ruff sometimes and may kill the Clam.

This depends on how big the clam is and how big the clowns are. I know a guy who has 2 clowns hosting his HUGE gig, and its fine with them hosting.
