Still trying to decide between goby/pistol vs yellow clown goby.:fish2:

If you don't mind the clicking sound go for the snapping shrimp and goby. I personally like the sound.

A goby of similar habit that might do well for a 12 is the high fin red stripe: they also pair with a specific pistol, the very pretty candycane (bright red and white), and also den up together. You could have a pair of these pretty gobies; or yashia hasu, same deal.

Okay, so I could have 2 high fins and a pistol in my lil 12 gal?

I agree with sk8r...I just recently got a hi fin goby and candy cane pistol shrimp. They paired immediately.

Remember your sand has to be deep enough for their construction underground project. It's an ongoing thing - the shrimp never stops working. It's hilarious to watch as the shrimp decides where to perfectly place each large grain of sand or rubble - you have to wonder what goes on in those teeny brains.
