Looking for suggestions on lighting a 24 gallon cube. Will be removing lid. I think I'm only working with 18-20 inches in width. I originally considered a 150watt MH pendant but have concerns with water temp and melting the rim. Are there any decent looking 18 inch T5 fixtures? What are thoughts on T5 vs MH on a 24 gallon cube?

I would (and have) go LED. More money up front, but in the long run it will save you money. If you decide on MH, a small fan blowing across the tank may prevent you from needing a chiller.
