I know starphire glass makes a much more clearer display for the tank but how much difference does it make?

less lead makes it more clear. it is noticable, but probably not worth the big price increase.

It makes a huge difference on large tanks, 180+, with thick glass,3/4"+. Small tanks- not worth the extra cost.

Even like 1/2" glass you can tell a difference. My deep blue 75g rimless comes with the 3 viewing sides in low-iron glass and it's an incredible difference.

Doesn't matter what size tank the difference is huge, especially to those who know what they're looking at.

it's looks super clear like the glass is almost not even there! my next tank will have it definitely! I can't complain about my green glass as it was free tho :frog:

If you can justify the expense, why not get it?
