Or do I have a problem?:spin2:

I love watching my skimmer with the froth built up in the cup.

Should I be reading a book instead ?? :-/

For us reefers, yeah, normal. For other "normal" people, yeah, that would be weird. :)

I just upgraded my skimmer, so for me...yeah lots of looking at the skimmer. The real challenge is to not constantly mess with it. Just gotta let it do it's thing, get broken in...hand off that gate valve!

My wife thinks it's very weird, I think it's perfectly normal!

Hahah, a few minutes ago I just got up from the bean-bag chair that I dragged over to the sump to stare at the skimmer and the refuge for a bit. My girlfriend thinks I'm crazy. The tank has only been up for like 2 weeks and the only crazy life going on is in the refuge!

I don't stare at it exactly, but I check to make sure it's running right then I stare at my tank which doesn't have much in it lol. I watch the pods and the algae sway in the current lol. my husband makes fun of me.

No.

It's also not normal to stuff a glass box with fish and rocks. We are all off a bit.

Depends, did you move to Delaware from New Jersey? If so, it's the least of your problems. :)

Man, that is a pretty hardcore setup. All that for a 90g? I feel inadequate. Either that or uneasy, one of the two.

Yup, it's the feeling of inadequacy. Still cycling my first tank, but honestly, I am amazed I was able to get water in my 90g. I still don't know how it goes down to the 40g below it and back up. Freakin' magic.

Yeah, but the tank doesn't stare back all self-conscious!

It would be weird and abnormal if you enjoy staring at your skimmer more than staring and enjoying your stocked reef/fish tank.;) JMO
