Yup, looks like aiptasia. The pics are a little blurry but that's what it looks like, and yes, you'll want to kill it and if possible remove the rock and place it in a quarantine tank. Aiptasia are extremely hard to get rid of once they start spreading.

killing these are an art.

if you plan to use the joe's juice, stop/x, or whatever.. make sure you turn down the flow
in your tank. so turn off the powerheads and maybe even the return.

wait until it is fully extended and sneak up on it. fully cover the mouth and top area with a good
blast of the stuff from the syringe. then proceed to totally cover it.

let the stuff sit there for 15 minutes and then use a turkey baster or wait until you do a
water change and suck all the paste and remains out of your tank. don't let it blow all over.

watch the area closely over the next weeks to see if it is really gone.

if you are not careful you will spread them all over your tank.
then you will want some peppermint shrimp to take care of it because the
paste is a pain in the butt to use on multiples.

part of me is thinking.. just remove it and take it back to the store. those critters suck
and i tend to just live with one or two in my tank in odd places. i do not notice them much and
no harm no foul. my shrimp will find it eventually when i do not target feed them for a while.
