can I change controllable koralia to normal koralia?

I have a controllable koralia and was wondering if I could cut the power cord and attach a a three prong outlet to it and make it a normal koralia? the controllable has a special outlet plug for wavemakers.

NO. The controllable model is a DC powered pump while the normal "three prong" ones are AC powered pumps.




edit: I guess you could possibly use a dc power supply but they should come with one already.
