refug size for a 150 gallon tank

wondering what size refug should I have for a 150 gallon tank? Also what flow should it have and lighting...

There's no real answer. It's all about what you can fit under the tank. I have a 30 gallon under my 125. with all the equipment I'm tight for space. If you have a basement and can plumb a refugium in the basement then the sky is the limit.

As for lighting, if you're planning on growing macro algae a good 6500k CF will be fine.


Edit: and as far as flow, 4-5 times total display tank volume is good. (600-750 PGH)

If you can fit a 20-30g tank, that'd be good, but even a small refugium can be a lot better than none at all.

As big as you can fit in ur stand. Imo bigger is better.
